Committed Badge: recognition for corporate sustainability
Baltur has successfully completed the EcoVadis assessment, one of the leading corporate sustainability assessment bodies, obtaining the Committed Badge. This recognition certifies our commitment to integrating sustainability into our corporate strategy through a robust management system aligned with international criteria.
A commitment that translates into concrete actions
The result achieved in August 2025 represents a significant milestone in our journey towards a responsible and sustainable development model.
The assessment awarded us highly positive scores in the key areas of sustainability, namely: Environment, Labour and Human Rights.
These scores demonstrate the effectiveness of our corporate practices in the environmental, social and ethical spheres.

Towards our first Sustainability Report
Confirming our desire to make our ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) activities increasingly transparent, Baltur has embarked on a structured reporting process that will culminate in the publication of our first Sustainability Report by the end of 2025.
With this goal, we are reinforcing our mission: to promote solutions that combine technological innovation, energy efficiency and respect for the environment, in order to generate value in a sustainable and responsible manner.
Our energy is 100% guaranteed green
Since 2023, Baltur has been powering its factories and offices exclusively with electricity from renewable sources, a concrete commitment to sustainability that is now officially recognised.
We have obtained the Guarantee of Origin from the GSE (Energy Services Manager), which certifies that the electricity we use is 100% renewable.
This electronic certification guarantees that for every kilowatt hour consumed, an equivalent unit of renewable energy is produced and fed into the electricity grid. Our energy comes from a Norwegian hydroelectric plant that is natural flow, sustainable and dam-free, fully complying with European environmental and regulatory criteria.
